The “First Discussion of Agriculture and Rural Development Cluster” was held on September 22, 2020 at 12:00 pm. The Discussion was amongst some of the well-known Public Development Banks (PDBs) to overview the “Finance in Common Summit” objectives and work of the Cluster.
The “Finance in Common Summit” is the first global summit of all PDBs which will be held during the Paris Peace Forum on November 12, 2020. The “Finance in Common Summit” aims to gather 450 PDBs from all around the world to recognize their critical role in financing and supporting investments that contribute to the realization of the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement across all sectors and to leverage their roles and resources to foster short-term recovery from COVID-19 crisis.
There were PDBs’ representatives from different parts of the world such as Nepal, Africa, China, etc. in the “First Discussion of Agriculture and Rural Development Cluster”. It is an honor that Dr. Eamal Arman, ADF’s CEO, is one of the Cluster’s members.
He participated in the “First Discussion of Agriculture and Rural Development Cluster” on September 22, 2020 via Zoom and represented ADF and its willingness to take part in this overriding program. Dr. Arman showed his interest in sharing ADF’s experiences in agriculture and rural development with the rest of the PDBs.
